It's still warm, have you driven at night with the roof down?

It feels like an occasion every time a drive it. It's even fun just trundling along in 30 zones when it's warm and the roof is off! Met up with a fellow PH'r this morning and went for a little blast! Just got to decide where the smiley goes now!

Wow that looks absolutely stunning.
Edited to add - I see it is the one in the classifieds. I was tempted by it but the travelling distance put me off. Looks lovely especially in the white.

Checked Admiral multi-car, much cheaper on most other cars I tried it with thanks, still got quoted about £4000 for a 1.6 MX5 though! Guess that's out of the question, booooo! Nice one you got there though

Specialist young drivers or specialist for MX5? I've looked at a few specialist young drivers, they're no better if not worse generally.

Wow, would've loved that as a first car!
Only one real problem now - any car you replace it with will be a disappointment! You've kinda spoilt yourself by getting one from the off!

Sound choice.
I cant be the only person wondering about these MK5 with carb engines, never heard of them myself. Thought it was 1.6Inj or 1.8Inj

I got the same tried classic insurance but no one would quote me because I'm under 25. Have you been a named driver on a car? deltashad said: Looks very tidy indeed. Great first car op. Only one real problem now - any car you replace it with will be a disappointment! You've kinda spoilt yourself by getting one from the off! Thanks! That's true! not sure where I'll go from here. My original plan was to hold off buying a car until I turn 19 and then buying a 225 TT but I decided I wanted something for summer and I'm so glad I've brought this now with the current weather aka_kerrly said: Sound choice.

Should have guessed it wasn't true! aha sircoops said: Had a Eunos at 18. Great first RWD fun! Agreed! It feels very different to the FWD astra down lanes and no doubt I'll notice every more when the roads are wet! Adcuz said: What a brilliant first car! The blocky number plate really does ruin the look of the front of the car IMO. That or a sticky one, I'm undecided.
