Noble P4 Ferrari Replica.
Discussion
2slo thanks for your comments, normally I am not a fan of replicas but as you say it's difficult not to like this one especially as it is built from scratch as oppose to using an existing vehicle platform. As previously mentioned I would have liked to go with a Ferrari motor but you have to draw a line somewhere....I have been involved with Rv8 engines for some time so it was an easy decision to make. As far as the noise goes.... The MOT guy was happy and after the looks of the car, it's the exhaust note that gets the comments. It's a bit sad but I'm into the science of exhaust design and whilst the system on this car is quite short it was created with sonic and thermal pulse in mind with the inclusion of torque cones to maintain exhaust gas velocity. Perhaps a YouTube video is needed!

In the meantime, here's one from way back - not my car incidentally, but another Renault V6 PRV powered car on downdraft Webers:

Not quite a V12 (by a long way), and 2 cylinders short of a V8, but still manages to make some nice noises.

I have seen MUF before, although it was many years ago (I am married now..)
ahh, married, so yes, I don't suppose you have seen 'MUF' for a long timeAs for the car, that is absolutely gorgeous. It's interesting to see how different replicas are received on PH and I'm glad all the comments so far have been positive as it looks and sounds absolutely brilliant.
Amazing car but the P4 was a V12 wasn't it?
Maybe slot a Jag, Merc or BMW V12 in there (he says...)
Still an awesome build - such a unique looking car and with only 4 in existence a replica seems a fitting tribute!
EDIT: was wondering how dimensionally accurate this is to the real thing - in terms of height, width, wheelbase. Given it's a (reasonably) bespoke chassis I would have though it's relatively simple to ensure these dimensions are accurate?
