I haven't given it any serious consideration, simply because I have had zero issues with the standard set up, it starts and runs exactly as it should.

Obviously T5 would allow easy tuning, but with the type 6 box fitted any extra power would be unusable in first and second and I can't honesty say it ever feels lacking in third, forth or fifth!!

I demonstrated the old girl to an interested party (potential purchaser) and friends the other evening. Four up, thirty to three figures on the PH standard issue private road, was dispatched with some ease and seemed to impress smile

Thanks very much, most kind!! smile

Well sadly this chapter now comes to an end, the Exxon Valdez has been collected by a new owner this morning and is heading further North.

It has been a fun three years and I will genuinely miss the way the car looks and goes, but new toys and other projects in waiting mean I know I'm not going to have the time to use her much or give her the attention she deserves over the next few years.

Rather than letting her sit and deteriorate, better then to pass her on to someone who plans to use daily and hopefully sort a few issues / gradually improve her along the way...

I see the old girl passed another MOT in June and has clocked up another 8000 miles since I sold her, making a total of 233k as of the MOT date, so the new owner appears to be using and enjoying her smile
