Friends Honda NSX
Discussion
Can't really believe that these things are 20+ years old now, but even so, when my friend said he was after an NSX, I didn't expect it to be one of the lowest mileage ones in the country!
He popped over today in it and I was blown away. It's covered only 12k miles and is as mint as you are likely to find.He has a later and larger set of more aggressive looking NSX wheels to fit shortly and has suggested that a supercharger may not be out of the question in the future. The sound from the 3.0 V6 vtec is sublime!
Thought I would share a few pics..

That is remarkably well-preserved. What a great find. I am quite envious of your friend. Though that car is just barely beginning to look a bit dated (the overhangs give it away), it's a fabulous design, with a great sounding and running engine and light enough to have great dynamics. Years back, I almost bought a very well-preserved used one (in silver!) and kick myself for not having done so.
Please pass along my congrats.

One of my schoolmates is obsessed with NSX's (that makes me sound like I'm still at school...)
As an avid Gran Turismo player in my yoof it was all about the Nissan Skylines, RX7's and Supra's, but since growing up I think he was probably right all along, the NSX is the pinnacle of the 90s Jap Sportscars.
Have to admit that I prefer the later, facelifted model (in Type R guise, please!)

That’s absolutely stunning, although I am a big fan of all things NSX these earlier ones just look so right to me and if it was me I would leave it completely standard – wheels included.
Red suits it perfectly as well.
Whether or not it remains like this going forward, your mates a very lucky fella to find one so unmolested.
