Car all back from dealer and after a replacement " Downstream Sensor " and another ECU reset the car is much smoother right from the off. The throttle is less on / off and it is much easier to drive without looking like a kangaroo. On the whole massively better with improved cold start being non spluttery now.

My suspicions are that the problem was there from new despite not showing up as an error on the dash until recently. I`m glad we persevered with it moaning at them to get Renault to do something. It is finally fixed , for how long , who knows - fingers crossed.

biggrin

Full under arch clean done smile

Keeps it all nice and fresh, car won't be getting used as much now so a full once over and it should stay clean for longer throughout winter

Update:

It's been a while.

I've decided to take the plunge and buy a cup spoiler biggrin

Should give more of an aggressive look smile

Cars booked in to have the spoiler fitted next weekend biggrin

I wasn't a fan when I first bought the car, but it's grown on me and I'm exited biggrin

Will look like this when done

Fattens the rear out much more, makes the car look more 'complete IMO

Nurburgring trip is booked, so I'm waiting until my spare wheels are painted then getting semi's for those wheels.

Good news then.
I had a racing blue 200 cup from new (match 2011) for around 16 months.
It was awesome.

Can you tell me how much the spoiler is going to cost (PM me if you don't wish to broadcast to all)?

I am thinking of retro-fitting one to mine and my wife's.

Ours is in tomorrow for a full wheel re-furb and black powerdocat (anthracite at the mo) then doing the roof in black (wrapped) this week.

If you buy from Spray Shack on 197/200.net then they're £305 painted and delivered to your door. The guy at sprayshack only charges for paint and labour.

I've had mine for an absolute bargain.

Bought mine 2nd hand, already painted Glacier White, mint condition.
£140 biggrin

It's booked into a garage to get it fitted, they are charging £50

Billy Bargain I think smile

It looks good, this may sound stupid but can you actually feel any difference through say high speed corners? Had a look and they are £180 from amazon which I think is pretty good.

Nice, I much prefer'd the 197/200 variants I've driven over the 172's of old.

The cup spoiler makes such a difference, turning an aestheticaly awkward card (IMO) into abit of a looker.
