Just a picture from Castle Combe, was a brilliant day.

Fitted silvervision indicator bulbs too, gets rid of the orange tango indicators that I hate, car looks a lot fresher now.

Also bought the 'renaultsport' silver steering wheel insert, which is a nice little touch. Just waiting for that to be delivered.

Loving the car, just doing little touches to it now that make all the difference

Thanks for the comments smile

There's no way the 182 is faster in anyway.

Cup pack and Recaros is a must on these cars! smile

And I really don't think a swift is in the clio's league.

But then, it's easy enough to say supercharge the Clio and it'll be in another league again.

It's more than capable to handle the extra power

It's so easy to compare cars if you could do 'this and that' to the underpowered car.

As they are, a swift could never compare.

If your talking about aftermarket parts, again, you could never compare.

Chief, there's no noticeable difference in straight line performance between the 1*2's to the 197-200

Theyre all pretty equal, it's the handling/ brakes and chassis is where all the difference is.

My 172 wouldnt come close to my 200's in handling/brakes standard vs standard.

Brilliant cars smile

Quick trip up the BlackMountains on the weekend

Feeling like it could do with a subtle boot spoiler, not the cup one

They've probably told you that just to cover themselves, I'd expect a phone call soon enough

As long as you've got the cup pack, which you have being a 'cup' then your onto a winner, everything else is just preference.

Enjoy it! smile

Just a little update,

My Continental sportcontact 3's have seen the end, with just shy of having 10,000 out of them. Which I think was really good.

While winter is setting in, I've gone for still a good performance tyre in the dry, but hold up really well in the wet weather.
So I'm trying the Hankook K110 v12 Evo tyres.

£180 for a pair fitted, which I thought was pretty good.

These should easily last through winter and into summer hopefully, as I should see 10-12K out of them, not being used hard.

Then I'll decide on what semi slick to run through the summer when that comes around again. I'm thinking Yoko AD08's

On another note, the car is creeping onto 10,000 miles and can feel it loosening up even more, and also averaging 36.2 mpg
During my working weekday.

Good to hear another positive comment,

They were definitely a no brainer to try out for the price.

Have you tried the 595RS-Rs? Well priced semi-slick
I have seen them, they're a brilliant price. I'll be looking into something like that in the summer time.
And have all 4 changed too, they'd be over powering just having a pair on the front. Will promote oversteer probably.

Had the Hankook tyres fitted, so I'm happy now. The last tyres were looking pretty bad, actually didn't realise how bad they were until I seen them off the car.

I'll let you know what the Hankook's are like once they've worn in.

Going to wash the car tomorrow. Proper wheels off and power wash job, it's filthy. Not had a chance with all the hours in work. Off tomorrow though smile
