Keeps it all nice and fresh, car won't be getting used as much now so a full once over and it should stay clean for longer throughout winter

Update:

It's been a while.

I've decided to take the plunge and buy a cup spoiler

Should give more of an aggressive look

Cars booked in to have the spoiler fitted next weekend

I wasn't a fan when I first bought the car, but it's grown on me and I'm exited

Will look like this when done



Fattens the rear out much more, makes the car look more 'complete IMO

Nurburgring trip is booked, so I'm waiting until my spare wheels are painted then getting semi's for those wheels.

No, I don't think the spoiler makes any 'real' noticeable difference. Maybe if you were to do thorough in depth tests, but I think it's more of a visual aspect it's an option.

I can't see a 6mph decrease tbh.

An escort cosworth whale tail only reduces the top speed by 10mph.
And that's a huge one, with an upswept lip to aid downforce too.

6mph is a little drastic sounding.
