Really has aged well the 360. Always thought it looked good but nowadays it looks amazing.

Lovely example too.

Lovely looking piece of kit, congrats on the upgrade smile Looks like a fairly decent scuff on the driver's bolster, be interesting to see the repair results! smile

A meeting with George Osbourne
is that due to the fact he has traded cars for a profit and therefore should be paying income tax on all 'profits' over the relevant threshold. I wonder if he will get the same treatment as the guys who pay cash in hand.

Still a nice cars but I don't buy the 'stories'
something like that

if he's doing everything above board then good for him, but the figures just don't stack up

i've seen it before on here

people claiming to make massive profits and most of the time it's because they were being dodgy bds

one example was a guy who was clocking then selling on

another was someone who was buying CAT C and D and fixing them up and selling them as not damaged and unrecorded

people make a couple of grand on cars every day of the week

but i'm just very critical on anyone who happens to make mega profits on cars which are depreciating

it's not like what he's trading in are rare models

maybe i'm just a skeptical person, but thats the way i see things

and i'm in no way accusing the OP of an illegal activity just doesn't add up as i see it

Saying that I think most people could have a 40k car if they had a half decent job and still living with the parents.

If I still lived with my mother I would spunk all my earnings on a lambo.

About the GTR could it not be fixed at all Surely it was only cosmetic damage new panels glass etc.

I personally would of got another GTR as they are the seed of god. But I can see why you went Ferrari, Trying to explain to someone that knows little about cars that you own a Nissan is going to be boring where as a Ferrari speaks for its self.

Good Thread though,... Im off to work harder and try and convince the OH we need a 40k nissan

Comments like this really get to me, a lot of people I went school with are now living on benefits popping kids out like no tomorrow to claim more. I have paid taxes since I was 16 working in a supermarket to get money in the first place to start trading cars.. I don't need to show you accounts etc but lets just say I will have a monumental tax bill next year so when people assume I am not paying anything it really gets under my skin. Ive gone through uni and am now going to be putting a lot back into society from the tax I will pay over my lifetime. The profits on each car havent been the whole sum that has got me into the next car I spend literally every penny I get on cars. If I was doing something dodgy would I really be stupid enough to post it all over internet forums, or to have agreed to a national magazine article and numerous local articles... I think not

Mate, just get on with it, enjoy your cars, I personally think the only thing you are guilty of is revealing too much.
If you'd left out your age and profession nobody would of raised an eyebrow. Just because someone asks what you do etc, doesn't mean you're obligated to answer.
If I were you I'd not say any more of the subject of what you do and how you do it, but please continue to share with us the cars you have, afterall, it's why we're all here.

Agreed. He's been very transparant in every post I've seen so far. Bearing in mind he will only pay 20% on the profit made from the car. As far as I'm aware the tyres, detailing etc... will all be deducted from the profit so the tax won't exactly be huge, even if he is above board (which I suspect he is)

Very nice car, I always wondered what owners feel like when they move on from a GTR as its quite difficult to match its performance. I guess you've fallen in love with the feel and the sound of the car (especially with the roof down) and to use a Ferrari as a daily driver hehe you're mental tongue out

British people seem to take great pleasure in throwing negative rather than positive light upon those whom achieve very well. It's rather a shame.

Congratulations on achieving such an awesome vehicle. I wouldn't have sold a GTR for it, but prancing horses for courses.

Well done and thanks for sharing with us.

if the OP wants people to comment on his car and his car only, then perhaps he/she shouldn't bring up their age and how their business is doing really well etc...

Good car though. smile

..but you cannot change the person who you are, and he seems like an open and honest person with big dreams. I looked an idiot in his GT-R thread when I had a theory of how he changes or upgrade his cars so often and was embarrassed when he put me right. So, from now on I will not think about how he got the car and and just enjoy the thread for the car he has got. Afterall, he is just a petrolhead like all of us, hence why he is on this site.

Anyway, I really like the 360 and red is the best colour. Would the F1 'box given you a wider audience when it was time to sell or is it very small difference?!?

How do your parents feel about you driving around in a Ferrari 360 whilst they pay to keep a roof over your head?

I admire your drive and ambition, but seems to me your priorities are all wrong.

Your parents are either very chilled and understanding, or soft.
