To be honest, think it looks much better without the arch extensions - much cleaner and simple. I take it they're a necessity though, due to wheel size?

Alternatively, could you not just flare out the body panels a bit? To get a seamless, flowing line.

They look great, I would keep the arches as wide as possible and put some hub centric spacers on to fill them up

Do this - flare the standard panels (or make something new that looks like that). It should be well within the abilities of a man of your calibre. The bolt-on looking arches like you've got there cheapen the looks of the thing. Photos on the previous page look absolutely phenomenal.

Its cleaner if you can widen the original carros, but could be difficult.

maybe you do not need it all around the way you showed, maybe you could only widen the upper half, something like this I mean, Alpina Z1 Japan, it seems they have to do that, its just an example.

also, some new sport cars (forgot what type) have sort of half flares, I see if I can find what I meant
could not find it, but here they also use half flares, this is to wide but for the idea

of course then more blended? in the carros

Another one for no wheel extensions.i think it looks great as is. Flair them a bit if you need to.

Gotta say I love the clean look you had before the wide arches. It just looks so right and naturally aggressive without any hint of trying too hard. I think that's why it works so well personally.

Bingo - the altered proportions make it look mean and bonkers in a subtle way. Not many cars have the wheels raised so much compared to the body. Adding the big flares would make it look chavtacular and draw attention away from that fact.

And here, too. Those arches look grim. The only way they could look grimmer is if they were more like the ones on that PoloR.

I will add another vote for flaring / rolling the existing sheet metal for a cleaner look.

It looks so "factory" in the pics you've posted so far : stick-on arch extensions will never look as good.

+more.

The only issue with this I can see is... is the Espace plastic? If so subtle arch flaring may not work?

Have a little faith people, have you enjoyed the work so far? envious of the vision and ability?
Pared back blended in and colour matched they'll do the job I'm sure.

Out of interest, are they Woodsport arches? They look like Paul's.

Good point on the first part. yes we have and its his vision and I'm sure whatever he does will look great.

envious of his ability? yes definitely but that has no bearing on the opinion of flared wheel arches.

Just think it looks fab as it is.

Seeing as no one has mentioned it.

HIGHER OFFSET WHEELS.

Leave the arches/tidy them up. Get wheels that fit.
