Is the jet actually geared from the shaft to provide drive to the rear wheels or is it just pure thrust?

With that exhaust, it is going to be thrust. It'll be an actual jet rather than a turbine.

But really this all needs to go an a separate thread. It's not really fair on lexspace to appropriate this thread for it.

I agree it is not fair to Lexspace. Please be patient while I compile a thread.

There are already countless issues that require time, patience and money. I will start a thread on Readers Rides once I have started to get an idea of where I am going with it, in the meantime, hang tight

I do not wish to derail this thread it has fantastic detail and it is just not fair to continue commenting. I will not reply to questions relating to my car from now on.

Thanks Lexspace I am in the process of evaluation and planning. I'm very excited about it but I'm at the drawing board stage. I have decided to make monthly updates working a month behind so this will give me time to reflect progress. All I can say right now is the that engine is art

I have finally got 1 wheel arch fitted , now that I have done one , the other rear should be much easier to do , I really like the look it gives it
