It's the detail work that makes or breaks a project like this IMO - and this is looking great. Many people would have gone for a right angled sheet of checker plate for a dashboard.

This may sound like a stupid question but whats going on with the pedals? Sitting in the middle the gearbox is in the way? I am loving the project so far love all things Renault.

Looking good. What are you going to make it from, we're obviously not expecting a load of MDF after seeing all of the previous work smile
I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to make it out of yet , but some aluminium/carbon fibre sheet and fibreglass will probably be involved , I try to steer clear of wood if at all possible !

As for the seating position , yes - some left foot braking IS required ....

As small updates go , this is small !!!

I've never liked all the holes in the rear tailgate, so as the DVD player has a rear camera function, I've decided to use it and fill one of the holes

It works great , I just need to route the wiring to the rear, as for the other holes ....... I can't really think of much apart from a blanking panel or bungs

what about blank it up and put a bit of wrap over it in a panel to save bodywork costs.

Surely "My other car is an Espaxus" is what the sticker should say...... (this one being a LexSpace) ;-)

Given the quality of the rest of the build I'd be having the bodywork done properly.
To cover it with a sticker or a blanking plug would really cheapen the overall car I think.

Sorry , no real progress to report, a change of job has taken its toll on my available spare time to work on it , I did however receive this in the post today from Anthony Crivelli - from www.build-threads.com ( a website I can't recommend highly enough)
It has put a smile on my face and hopefully may give me some motivation to crack on with it .
Thanks again Anthony

Last time I checked - it was available for £500 , couldn't really warrant buying it
However if there are any lottery winners out there who want to buy it and donate it to the cause , that would be fine by me ......
