Sold my rust free E30 M3 for £5k

My Nissan Skyline R34GTT with a 450hp RB26 engine fitted frown I sold it after spending 6 years taking it from absolute Stock after importing it from Japan to the 1st UK RB26 engined GTT. I sold it to get myself out of financial troubles and made the mistake of selling to the 1st person to offer me my asking price, rather than a proper enthusiast.

20 years old, very rich parents going through a divorce and no real respect for what he'd bought. He eventually sold it after a few months, and the next owner also sold it a few months after that and I lost track of it and haven't seen it on any of the forums ever again.

Doubt it. CSL would be about £30-33k. E30 would be about £15k. So I would be better off, but more importantly I would still own one of them!!!

My old remapped Evo 8 fq that I ended up selling as it was getting a bit silly spending £50-70 a week just on fuel to commute to work in.

The irony is that I've moved homes & jobs now, so I could walk or ride to work and have something like this as a weekend car.

Thanks. Pic was taken in 2000. It was a lovely car, if a bit slow (1.8 manual)

Various over the years, but most recently.

Only 1 parking space meant:

Still gutted tbh, not like it would have lost any money just sitting there either.

1977 Jaguar XJC 4.2 - picked up as a non-runner which I never properly fixed.
Sold for about £100, my Mum made me sell as I was taking up too much space with my Lotus Elite II and Rover P6 3.5 at the same time.
The guy who bought it fixed it up and sold it for nearly £2,000 IIRC.
I'd have another P6 now too if I could.
The Lotus... not so much. hehe

More sentimental than anything else, it was my first "fast" car and in my eyes back then it did everything.

Put a non-res exhaust on it for some hatfield tunnel childishness, i still get a twinge of nostalgia if i see one about.

and yes, those are fluffy dice tongue out

They offer a lot of fun for not a lot. I miss my VTR the most. 4-2-1 manifold with no Cat and a group N exhaust. 50mm lowering springs were perhaps a little too much but it was seriously fun. Sat on the drive way for months as I could'nt find time to repair a damaged thread for the spark plug before i sold it.
