For me, it has to be this little chap. Sold it about 4 or 5 years ago with 17k on the clock, one previous owner and FSH and was show condition.

I am currently thinking about selling my 11 year old honda accord type-r, I have had it since 20k miles and 14 months old. It has now done 183k, what's the consensus, sell it or keep it and get it back to its former glory for the occasional summer evening drive. I think if I sell it that like a lot of ATR owners I will regret it!

Some lovely cars here people have sold on!

Small world. I did servicing on that car when I worked at
Swinford Motors.
Very small world that's my Dad's old car (pretty sure...it always had a private plate on)

What is your dads name?, when i purchased the car it was one owner and just 17,500 miles, from a local man who lived not to far from the old Swinford Motors.
Porsche only made 50, most were in red white blue and silver, i have never seen another one in Slate Grey.

I saw the car up for sale again this year at Hairpin Motors ia excess of £60k and sold.

I should have kept it.

This:

Mazdaspeed RX-7 Type-RS A-Spec. Rare as hens teeth - only something like 150 came out of the factory like that, and i bloody loved it. Sold it to fund first house purchase, really miss that car.

Especially gutted as the 'tard that bought it promptly ttted it into a tree, then changed the bodykit and 'tuned' it ridiculously.

It was a beautiful, rare car until he did that. .

Yep that matches the description, my Dad is Anthony Darby. I did quite a few of those miles, tragic really as he owned it pretty much from new, very rarely saw the light of day....often many months at a time. As you know it was in beautiful condition when sold, probably one of the best of that type.

My Mk2 Uno Turbo. Purchased back in the day when I had almost no understanding of how an engine worked, I ended up selling it cheaply after it developed issues, only for the buyer to later inform me that a well-hidden split on one of the boost hoses was to blame. Bugger laugh

Yes it was Tony who i purchased the car from although i never met him, a friend of his sold it to me. I was at his house last week to look at a 1966 250 SE Convertable he is thinking of selling but not sure its for me, very nice car though but expensive

It might be the slowest and least valuable car I've owned, but it is the one I'd most like back !

RS6 Plus, did everything so capably with minimum fuss. Prices now are ridiculously low for the performance however they can still present big bills. Thinking about buying another I miss it that much

Yep that's had a nut and bolt restoration, I know they guy that put it together. Another car that get's no real use so better it went to an enthusiast. Dad is making sure he leaves me no legacy ;-)

There are a few I wish I hadn't sold...

My '88 GT/E Exclusive coupe- one of the last registered with 60k on the clock..

My '78 MK2 Capri 1.6S with 50k on the clock...

And my baby..'98 Cerbera 4.2, now owned by mart63 on here..

I also wish I still had my very first car which unfortunately I don't have any photos of. A '79 MK2 Escort 1600 Sport, reg: FTW595T.

Liking the Capri alot, I had a Signal Amber 1.6s back in 1985, my first car at 17, loved it, sold it to a mate who consequently wrote it off within 24hrs, bent every panel, the Muppetcry.

One pic I still have of her;

Yes, thankyou Fella, my mates do like reminding me every so oftenlaugh. The worst thing was the M3 was p/x'd against a 1999 VW Golf GTI 20v Turboeek.
Got £7.5k for it, the Golf was £14k back thenvomit, nice car but I knew I'd made a massive mistake the day I drove it home from the dealer in Manchester...

Luckily I'm young and have only passed one car on. and it was a Corsa 1.2. I miss it, but I do not regret selling it on.
