Only photo I have of my Audi 80 B2 quattro. One of the last of only 400 imported into the UK. It had full leather interior, and had been recomissioned and tuned by the chap I bought it from, a senior technician for GTi Engineering. To deviate slightly from the thread, I was the last owner of the car frown

My previous 325i that got sold to a BMW breaker for its MTec leather, BBS wheels, sports suspension and lsd. I got rid of it about 3 months prior to unwittingly being in a financial position to fund a body resto on it, Grr.

'The Bluetit', my beloved '00 318ti Sport. Even though I have had arguably 'better' cars since, I should probably never have got rid of her... but needs must, and sometimes changing up seems like a better idea than spending big to keep the same car...

To be honest I've missed most of the cars I've owned. Here is another.

Owned for 4 years and 26k miles, sold it for a good profit but I still miss it. I've toyed with buying another one, but I can't imagine how it could be as good, and then we'd be into the same kind of disappointment when you go back to somewhere you loved, and it didn't live up to how you remembered it...

wish i had kept this. sold when i was younger and was destroyed within a couples of weeks by the new owner.
Was lovely, handled like a go kart, took anything you could throw at it, full spax shocks and springs along with a kent cam made it pretty capable. Never see them now days.would love to have kept it in the garage.

My Caterham Superlight frown

I had to sell it to buy the next car, but I really wish I could have kept it. I still live in hope that one day, I'll track it down and buy it back again smile

Yes, thankyou Fella, my mates do like reminding me every so oftenlaugh. The worst thing was the M3 was p/x'd against a 1999 VW Golf GTI 20v Turboeek.
Got £7.5k for it, the Golf was £14k back thenvomit, nice car but I knew I'd made a massive mistake the day I drove it home from the dealer in Manchester...
I could do you a nice deal on a mk4 golf, £900 or £25k for the Cecotto? I can imagine the cringing you must do when you think the Delta and M3 are now worth £50k between them.

This thread is the reason why I'm never selling my 968CS or M3. I made the mistake once with a mint RS2000, won't do it again.

Seriously.. cost me £75, had no maintenance, never let me down, got nicked, recovered and repaired, and I still sold for a profit.

Was revvy, enthusiastic and oh-so honest. An early spec car so super-retro colour and lots of chrome. All it needed was some coilvers, banded steelies and a Zetec lump lick

I love that apart from the wheels. Looks absolutely bonkers, like the spawn of a Dakar racer and a Evo, although I'm guessing that's the point! smile

Mitsubishi FTO GPX - Was my first proper car, bought for myself for 21st birthday. Has a place in my heart as it was a grey import, and very few in the country at the time (was back in 1998). Was also the car I had when I met my wife. Would buy it back if I ever found it

BMW E60 M5 - just loved it. Sold only because the economy took a turn for the worst and my job was threatened.
