Looks good, apart from the cheap BBS reps.

Well it got serviced at an indy, ex BMW & Merc guy. The Service cost me about £180 and consisted of a brake fluid change and an oil change, possibly something else, I didn't really pay that much attention, so I'll check the receipt and update this. Anyway, the thing I did notice was the MPG!

So I decided to have an economy tank to see what I could manage on my new mainly A1 commute of 80 miles per day, 1st tank, 720 miles from 60L! 54.5 mpg, and as I type this it's currently done 124 miles with a range of 760 left! sat at 65.7 mpg

I don't know what BMW did during the last oil service, or if the place this time have used cooking oil, but it's giving me the figures I was expecting when I bought the car.

I'd like to point out this is at 55-60mph on cruise while playing scrabble & drinking coffee on my way in, not the usual rep-esque balls to the wall these cars are normally treated to!

Well, another 8 months of trouble free motoring!

I'm contemplating a change, errr, I've changes the headlight bulbs to Osram Nightbreakers so I can see where I'm going now, and my passenger door handle is sticking a bit.

It's just ticked over to 68k, and is still pretty much fine!

Thanks, the car may be going soon, but I'm toying with keeping the wheels, they're my favorite alloys, I might just hang them in the garage and look at them.

Why are you thinking of getting rid of it? Sounds like the perfect car for the job.

I just fancy something with a bit more poke.

Having said that it could be winter blues from not using my little track car.
