Struggling to find anything suitable TBH.

What I think may be a 'compromise' is keep the GT86 and get an older/cheap mini-barge as well.

Your car in particular will have suffered tremendous depreciation as uk doesn't value mods & add-ons. For that reason alone 2 yrs is very short ownership.
in addition, i can't really think of an alternative. it's a bespoke car, keep it!

It'll be three years in September, but you're right. I'll probably keep it anyway. cool

Undecided, but it'll be a V12 wafter of some kind.

Looking at Jaaags, Merc S Class, E31 850, etc.

Decision un-made.

Bought an old SAAB turbo but keeping GT86 too. hehe

V12 still on the books but probably next year now.

wise decision i think. yours is particularly special and surely has plenty of more pleasure to give. no?
A V12 would be a good complement.

The bad news

Got rear-ended.
Literally just left bodyshop after having drivers' door repaired and painted after supermarket car park ding and a young lad in his Mum's Renault drives into my rear. It was a frustrating few weeks driving a Seat Leon diesel hire car, though it made me appreciate the GT86 all the more when I got it back. AVO exhaust, rear bumper, sacrificial panel, paint, clips and fasteners came to just shy of £3,000. All done and looks like a good job.

The good news

FI is back on the table.
Not 100% decided yet, but am keen to try the Harrop TVS1320 Supercharger, more here.
Feedback has been good, looks very OEM and is not over the top - performance by stealth.
Have a test booked this Spring - depending how that goes I should have the funds available for the Summer.
Like I said, not certain yet but it's a way more attractive proposition to me than the turbos.

Stickers are gone.
Fixed! Seriously though, sorry to hear. (Those stickers killed the rear end, though.)

If I was going FI, I'd need some mighty convincing not to go with the Cosworth kit. It looks beautiful under the bonnet.

From what I've read, I don't think the Cosworth suits my requirements quite so well.

It produces more power and torque certainly, but more aggressive than the Harrop Eaton. I guess it's the 'better' solution if you want big numbers and track performance, but for my B road and lane driving I think the Harrop wins the day.

Like the Cosworth, it looks like pretty OE installation too:

Harrop graph

Abbey Motorsport graph

Hub Torque Power
Stock 143 lb-ft 167 BHP
TVS1320 206 lb-ft 252 BHP
Difference +44% +50%

Add c. 40 BHP for flywheel figure.
