I thought I would make a new thread for my FRST.

Bought it earlier this year and I was using it as my daily driver for quite a while. Unfortunately it has now developed a problem, which I have yet to diagnose. I have tried the TPS and IACV but need to test out a new MAP sensor. MOT has now run out though.

Needs to be sold but I think I will leave it on the drive for a while until I have spare cash to get it on the road.

It's pretty standard, just got Compomotive wheels, Hi-Spec front calipers, exhaust and Pace fmic. It is in fantastic condition though, having had a bit of a restoration a few years ago.

Anyway, here's a few pics...

Thanks for looking!

That is such a good looking car, and unbelieveably free of rust too.

Thanks

I have a link to the build thread - http://passionford.com/forum/restorations-rebuilds... - but unfortunately the pics have expired. I do have a print out of it with pics though.

It had a respray but this was done with the archs/skirts on. The only bit of rust I have found is a tiny amount under 1 rear arch

If it were running, I'd buy that. And that's as big a compliment as I can give, it's a beauty! I bet it's a great drive too.

On my list of cars to own for sure, stunning. I'm sure when you do decide to sell it won't hang around for long!

Beautiful. Mk3's have really become rare in the last few years. The RS Turbo is one of the best looking Fiestas Ford made imo

Thanks for the comments everyone...makes me want to keep it. Whenever I go to local meets it gets plenty of attention as well.

The only reason I have considered selling it is because of my debt situation. Might decide to keep it if my ppi claims come through with decent amounts.

Would like a t3 conversion too, I was always a little disappointed with the performance of it. Maybe its because the last fiesta I had was an RS1800 with a 2.0 zetec Turbo running a t34.63, though

i love these too. hankered for one for years, remember when they came out and i drooled in the window of the local ford garage who had a white one in for sale new. had a sit in it too. insurance was just a joke for them though back in 1991 and i was 19 so ended up getting a clio 1.8 16v insured with my dad. i still want one, but would have to have more poke these days circa 190bhp or it would feel too slow, the tiny t2 turbo needs changed to a t3. one day ill get one as a weekend toy.

I'd be reluctant to sell as it is now because I think it would leave me too much out of pocket.

Looks fantastic and really like the wheels.

I had one back in the day with a fair few mods under the bonnet. Was a very nippy car smile

However, I did like the 'stock' look so put everything back to standard a year or so later. I would love anothercloud9
