Love this, don't see many mk3's about these days. How much do these go for? Can't decide wether I'd have one or a mk2 xr2
At times I've looked, they seem to vary from £2000 to £5000. I had mine advertised in the middle a while ago, but no interest at that price.Just been offered £1500 last night though...definitely not enough to get my interest, it owes me double that. But that was as it is, off the road
My brother had one of these about 12 years ago. Brilliant little cars. His was a bit more uh... Fast Ford-y, silly exhaust tip, m3 mirrors, loud BOV (As was the style at the time!), but... great motor. Yours looks mint, if you get it working and MOT'd I imagine it'd be at the top end of the price range (if it's all as good as it looks!).
The wheels are perfect. I love those things anyway, but they really suit this car and that colour!

i love these too. hankered for one for years, remember when they came out and i drooled in the window of the local ford garage who had a white one in for sale new. had a sit in it too. insurance was just a joke for them though back in 1991 and i was 19 so ended up getting a clio 1.8 16v insured with my dad. i still want one, but would have to have more poke these days circa 190bhp or it would feel too slow, the tiny t2 turbo needs changed to a t3. one day ill get one as a weekend toy.
IMO they are quick enough as standard, certainly quick enough in comparison to most hot hatches these days and of previous years. Remember they are only around 950kg.I would have another one but only in standard or in a very mildy tuned form. I would personally discount buying any T3 tuned conversion car due to reliablity concerns and more importantly future resale value.
So, the Fiesta has been sat on my parents drive since before I even started this thread. Mainly due to me not prioritising my disposable cash towards sorting it and I have shared use of my girlfriend's car.
Finally, I've taken a step in the right direction and a friend is transporting it to my house on a flatbed today. This means I can give her a good clean up and start to investigate the problem, although will need a new battery in the next few days to start her up.
Just need to clean out the garage now so can I keep her clean and safe!

I must be the only one on the thread who doesn't like the wheels. I do like quick Fords that escaped chaving though, nice one OP
I'm surprised I haven't had more dislike for them to be honest, I thought they'd be a bit marmite but it looks like you're on your own!Bought a battery this morning only to st myself when connecting it as the alarm went off while my head was under the bonnet!!
Started her up, no hesitation and idled well. Very surprising!
Oddly, the problem that was present last time she was running seems to have healed itself One less thing to sort at least
It's a little smokey on the overrun after giving it a few revs...it randomly started this after a 50 mile trip when it was on the road. Needs a bit of investigation.
Took it down my road, as it's just a close and it went better than expected, although the brakes need a lot more use.
All in all, I'm very happy that things are moving along with it.
