Dunno. Read a few resto threads where they're applying it first to soften the paint, and then going over with strip discs.

All seems like its been a busy few weeks bud. How far along do you think you are with the project? Still on the uphill or is paint the beginning of the re-assembly and *most* hard work over.

I really want a project but lack of garage/driveway is a stopper. My last E30 325 sport project ended up in my parents garage for 2 years and I gave it away in the end

Maybe I missed something, but if you are stripping the paint back to bare metal, how are you protecting it until the car gets repainted?
