Lovely old cars these and very rare now, but they can even show an old Jag how to rust! I'm glad you're saving it - and look forward to the resto thread.

I'm sure you know about TonyBMW's work on these cars posted on Retro Rides but here it is, just in case you haven't seen it. Marvellous stuff. biggrin

Well that should keep you busy for a while! Could be a cracking car once done though.

Tony BMW was keeping one like this in one of the garages just down from our workshop, this isn't the same one is it? If so small world!

Good luck with the project fella. Bookmarking this topic as I'm in the market for one of these but, sadly I am playing the waiting game as they are quite rare now.
It's not something I want, more of a case of something I have to have one at some point. If anybody should know of a decent one for sale the please let me know !

For some bizarre reason I have a figure of around 200 (read that as just under) in my head for the UK.

I think we're well over due some more pictures of the project. biggrin
If your ever thinking of selling up Olly once its done then please give me a yell. smile

It looks much better now it's metal!! You're making excellent progress with this - a good E12 is a pleasure to see, especially the M535i. I'm very glad you're restoring it.
