Hi all,

I used to own a Rover Mini Sprite 1275 (last of the Carbs) 1994, and you can read about that here!

After a year and half of ownership, and not getting much of use it I decided to part company and find something that wasn't just for weekends and classic car shows.

I've long had an interest in Rovers and British Leyland, so following it with another Rover was likely. I had considered a Mercedes Benz 190e (1.8/2.0), VW Golf Mk2 1600 Driver and VW Golf Mk4 1.6 but I decided to go for the Rover 45.

I am expecting stick here, seeing as Rovers are unwelcome as much the mention of headgaskets. Still, do your worst!

The 45 is in Club spec, comes with a sunroof, air-con, CD player, electric windows and plenty more toys. It isn't an oil painting, but I plan on spending some money to get it up to scratch so it's less of a shed.

Enjoy!

Yep. It's Rover's L-Series diesel.
