My Audi S4 Quattro Avant.

I Was looking at another diesel to replace my beloved Volvo S60 D5 (Now in the hands of my OH) , as good as the Volvo was it lacked the excitement of my previous Volvo 850 T5 (MTE mapped) wagon.
Anyway I lost the will to live looking at another diesel so bought a B5 S4 Quattro Avant instead
This first week has been a case of love at first sight....I'm truly smitten.
I Have spent the weekend out in the garage cleaning and polishing.
Also torqued the wheel bolts, set the tire pressures and generally checked and tinkered with her to my hearts content.

No plans just yet, going to leave her as is until after Christmas.

Yep, all is good with the rest of the vehicles, The FireBlade is in hibernation, The XC90 is good as gold, The Golf 1.9 tdi is off the the Scrappers (so MissB now has my S60 D5) due to rust Very nice B5, I'm sure you'll keep us all updated on how it works out.
shame to scrap it as it has been ultra reliable for the two years we've had it.
Oh that's beautiful, I would have bought one a year ago if anyone would insure me in the Avant, which they wouldn't, yet they would in the saloon weirdly.
Either way lovely car, still something I want to tick off my list, those V6s have a very unique character. Nice to see a standard one too.
