Can't do much about the tints as it has the factory fitted privacy glass.

I really like these, a big family estate with that engine is just fantastic. Very smart.

Well done old chap.

Got the same issue with the wheels on mine. It seems to be starting on the edges of the nut holes.

It's averaging 13 mpg at the moment... 26 is achievable on a run but that's boring.. They seem to run best on Shell VPower.

The dynamic seats are very good once you've figured out which button does what !

Oh and drop the rear windows a few inches when in tunnels and give it some beans for the full aural effect..

Amazing machine must be very rare? Hardly ever see the saloon version never mind the estates.

IIRC Chris Harris loves these especially in seven seater form

Yes, wheel nut holes ware where mine have gone too. I've not tried V Power yet as Shell garages seem to be few and far between round my area. I've been using the Tesco Momentum 99. Averaging around 16mpg, but have seen 25mpg...once!

Superb choice of car yes

How do the seven seats work - I've not seen that before. Do they drop into the boot, or face backwards up against the rear seats?

They face rearwards and fold into the boot floor.

These are in our outgoing E430.

Magnificent.

Drove the current E63 this weekend just gone and it was unbelievably capable. The damp conditions meant you had to be smooth and progressive on the throttle or you'd find things getting interesting if you tried to push hard out of a corner.

Would love a play in the big N/A just to see the difference.

Awesome cars.

Same driving style required, otherwise she does squirm a little!

thumbup

Moved it from my want to my need list!

Wouldn't feel hard done by with the 6.2 or 5.5 bi-turbo.

I take my hat off to you sir, fantastic family car.

I just wish my other half would drive an E Class, I would prefer one of these to a C63 estate

Mrs G doesn't like driving them either, but it's auto's in general she has a problem with so I got it anyway.

It's the kind of motor that, as a nipper, I'd run to the bedroom window for just to hear being started. Ok, I still would getmecoat

I have to admit that I leave the drivers door open when I start up. I must get out more!

The E430 has a lovely grunt to it though, I briefly took possession of a CLK 430 and it sounded like god was angry when you blipped the throttle.

Strangely, a trader friend of mine's CL500 sounded far more muted in comparison.
