Such a lot of car for the money.

Don't normally like green, but that looks good. Especially with the red.

Enjoy it.

No worries gents,

Everyone has their own opinion, it's what the spice of life is all about. If we all liked the same things then life would be dull.

Green and Red is never going to be to everyones taste, I personally think it works really well.

The car phone may well be my favourite part, I just need to get a sim card for it so that I can actually use it.

Could be Fern Green like my old 330ci?

Hi

Like the colour, confused over the gearbox though.

I'd have thought that the benefit of that great engine is a little blunted by the auto gearbox, unless you do a lot of city driving maybe.

I do about 20,000 miles a year so could not face the fuel bills from a 6-pot and ended up buying the boring 320d E46 touring version in metallic grey (2005). I must admit to enjoying it a fair bit, and its been a while since I last had a rear wheel drive car.

Mine came without a spare wheel in the wheel-well in the boot, the dealer said that they often come like that, though I bought one fairly cheaply on ebay (probably the one that was supposed to come with it!!).

As long as you are enjoying it that's the main thing.

I quite want to upgrade the business stereo that came with mine, to something that connects to the ipod/iphone. Has anyone got any recommendations?

cheers
Wacky

Apart from the auto, that sort of spec would suit me down to the ground. I personally love cars with anything other than black or grey interiors. My Astra SE2 has bright blue alcantara and my dad bought an S-Type in light blue with blood red leather. I think some colour lifts an interior's ambience.

Hope you have many wonderful miles together!

Nice car. I've a facelift 51 plate 330d touring in oxford green. It's served us very well over the years. Half leather sports seats, HK, and a telephone that was nicked the other day when I forgot to lock it.
Good luck getting a quarter of weed for that, scroties!

E46 330i Sport Touring with a manual box appears to be very rare, I looked for a long time for one with top spec but got the auto in the end.
Love the car but wish it had a manual box.

I've got a 330i sport touring with a manual box and if I recall there was only two on auto trader in the uk at the time. Love it to bits after 3 years it's only cost tyres and brakes.

It took me ages to find my manual one as well but I did not give into auto temptation and eventually I managed to find a well-specced, well-looked after manual. It did require a lot of patience though!
