Hello all

Bought myself a pre Xmas present in the form of some secondhand 20inch AMG reps

The standard wheels are staying - the 19" amg and I will use them when I fancy a change.

However the 20s came up on eBay and I decided to give them a go!

I am not TOTALLY sure about them - they certainly make the car a little more modern. Personally I would have a preferred a deeper rear dish but they are growing on me!

Before and afters!

iPad pics of the new wheels don't help - ill get some done on the SLR camera!

I'm sorry but I prefer the 19" wheels. Suit the car much better, I have the same in 18" on my CLK

The snide AMG wheels look much, much worse than the originals. Get them back on Ebay and try and claw back some cash.

No no, original ones looked so much better. The new ones look akin to someone putting M6 alloys on a 3-series.

Best would be to find some like you have, but the wider spoke design and maybe the two-piece split type.

Thanks guys! I don't think the low res photos help!! Will get some better ones up tomorrow. I am going to keep both pairs and interchange.

The original Monoblock style ones look a LOT better IMHO. They probably weight a damn sight less too :/

They look nice but I think I prefer the originals. Are the cl65 style splits really expensive?

The originals look much better, the new ones are too modern and don't suit the car. IMO.

Combined with the lowering I think the new wheels really suit it. I'd keep them if it was me.

Like the old ones, nice and clean, but the new ones 'complete' the looks of this car, looks mean but subtle. Love the car too, my dream car at the moment!
