These biturbo V12s make me giggle and I'm no real fan of turbocharging. For when a V12 isn't quite powerful enough, huzzah! Put two turbos on it. Job done.

The original wheels accentuate the car nicely, they give it a 'stout' and purposeful look. The oversized snides look too weak and spindly. It's gone from something you might see parked outside a country club to something you'd see parked outside a dodgy takeaway!

The SLR pictures do indeed paint them in a better light.

Going on the iPad pictures I would say stick with the originals.

Now I've seen decent pictures.... I'm not sure!

This tbh. the second lot of pictures make them look much nicer, and im not 100% sure which i like best. swaying more towards the originals because i prefer the oem look. but both look nice.

It's a beautiful car. Leave it original and honest - period wheels and all! Mercedes got it right first time round.

you've really fked up what was a beautiful looking car!! I know it's yours and all...but the lowering looked like the suspension collapsed and now you've stuck those horrid wheels on it at least it can be rectified easily enough though!

What they said. Fantastic car, ruined by council estate 'improvements'. If it was better with massive bling alloys and slammed suspension then I suspect Mercedes with an R&D budget of tens of millions would have known and sold it like that. Put it back standard and then

Cracking car, but the new wheels do nothing for me, either.They just don't seem to gel and are quite uninteresting to look at.I just think "massive TSW Blades" when I look at them and you get those mostly on McDonalds midnight car park fodder

A larger version of something like the originals would tick every single box imho.It's such a classy looking car, that it deserves a classy looking wheel.The new ones are a little bit too touring car for me.

Each to their own though.Still a beauty!
