I must admit that I always preferred the e30's but as the years have passed, I think the e21's look fantastic!

It really suits that colour. thumbup

Got a few things done today.

Door handles were a bit crappy, so sanded them up and gave them a quick lick of paint.

They could probably do with being powdercoated, but they'll do for now.

Dried and fitted:

Windscreen in:

Chrome trim fitted:

Got started on the wheels today.

This will probably a fairly long job frown

This is how they started:

Then, with the help of this:

I did this:

Need to find somewhere that sells a decent primer and then get some paint on them. Judging by my 182 wheels on the RB, these should look good smile

That's looking lovely, beautiful job done by the bodyshop - who are they if you don't mind me asking? I'm just up the road from you in Altrincham.

Can't wait to see this driving around the area smile

It was Lee at Body and Design in Salford that did the paint.

He's a decent guy, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Fingers crossed, this weekend should be productive smile

Seconded. He painted my car (also can be found in readers' cars) and a few of my friends and families cars have been with him for work. All of which have been to a very good standard.

Good to see a project being done to such a high standard, absolutely lovely car.

I dare say you've thought of this, and don't post details on here, but I hope you have plans for additional security.

Thanks for posting pics smile

Did the sunroof today, sounds an easy job, but I wasn't the one who removed it, and it was pretty tricky to get it fitted. Two minds make light work of it though and Jon.G was round to help out smile

Needed to recover the underside of the sunroof before fitting it.

New headlining:

After some head scratching a bit of fiddling, we got there:

Need to order a new door window seal as the passenger one is a bit rubbish.

Very little left to do on the exterior now.

Good work. Sunroof is proper ball ache so glad it went back OK.

I know you're refurbishing a set of MiMs but have you seen these?

Yeah, I've seen them.

They look really nice tbh, but I don't like the black centres, I want mine all silver.

Just personal preference.
