Personally think the 208 is one of the better looking small hatches.
In GTI spec it looks really good.
Comparing it to the old 205's and moaning about its size etc is just silly these days.
If they prove reliable ill pick one up as a second car in 5 years! I'd like to replace our ageing 206 with a 207 but they're plagued with issues.

Your front suspension is very lofty, looks odd.
Its completely standard....always has been alwasy will be!Adrian has put lowering springs on the front of his red one...I personally dont like it.

I used to have a 1.9 GTI and I'm sure it didn't sit that high.
Well I can a sure you my 205 is completely standard and original in the suspension department....and trust me I have owned it for long enough to know!As someone else above just said so many were lowered or messed about with you could well have had one with incorrect springs.....or they had sagged over time.
Ride hight is spot on....

I think it looks a bit higher because the arches are so clean/white.
Well there is that Also you have to remember the front arches are not the same height as the rear ones so there is the element of optical illusion!
Although the bright white clean arches really dont help

The 205's are lovely! As said though, very high which makes the white one look a bit odd... respect you for keeping it original though.
I actually really like the 208 GTi's. As already mentioned the 206 & 207 were definitely going in the wrong direction, but I think the 208 is a real looker compared to the new Clio RS 200T that's coming out. If they release a 'proper' hot version, they could be on to a winner (if it handles well) as I know a lot of people, me included, are very much put off by Renault only offering a 5 door version of the new Clio RS.
