Seems to have a nice stance and minimal lean - score. You'll miss it once it's gone!

I'm still not feeling the facelift 986 as much as the earlier models, even if some of the upgrades are nice. 987s are not that interesting other than Caymans and all appear to be sufficiently borkable to be nerve-racking without meaningful premptive investment. More sums to be done...

Well take the time to work with it and I'm sure the Cayman's talents will shine through.

What is the plan for modz?

I still think the early Boxsters look really good. This thread's got me thinking now....
The cheapest one for sale locally (and by some €4,000 less than the others) is a RHD Tiptronic, but it's yellow.

I think many would be put off by it being RHD, then by it being yellow.
Is it worth a punt (but not at that price!) or difficult to sell based on the colour alone?

Cheers. RHD isn't a problem; I'm a Brit abroad.

The fact it was tiptronic was also off putting. Seeing the UK prices (PH classifieds has about 14 Boxsters <£5K at the moment) makes them look attractive to buy, export and abuse! wink

You found one with it?

In any case congratulations on the purchase!

Well done. Would like to see some 'money shots' of all that expensive leather at some point!

I can't find it in my archives but one of the first images of the 987 Cayman that I saw on the 'net was a red one with those silver accents on the front PU but that example also had the lower portions of the door mirrors done in silver and I really liked the look. You can still get the parts....

Ah, so it gives you leather in the same places you get on a 911. I've not seen a 987 without it, but can understand now why you'd make it a must-have.
