Thought I'd put up a mini update, the black Jag has resently been fully clay bar'd and now looks stunning. Next job as a service and fresh oil.

The Green XJR has had some more work done on the paint and wears a new number plate, looking very British

Next update will be once th sun is shining

Cheers

Lovely looking XJ's. Does the X308 have the brembo brakes? I recently purchased a X308 XJR in black, unfortunatley its nowhere as near minty fresh as yours.

Thanks - Yes if you check on the first page you'll see them

Recently lost out on the paramount V500 XJR which we were going to take to pieces, anyone else see it up for sale?

I recall seeing the Paramount one for sale on ebay a few weeks ago. I spent a few months drooling over XJRs in the classifieds before one came along at the local car auction. Could I ask how much you paid for the rear parking sensors? That will probably be one of my first purchases if I end up keeping the car for the long term.

The V8 models AKA X308 would appear to be the sensible choice here. What do I know though ? I only have an X300 Sport.
The X300 is the last of the traditional 6 cyl. Jags, has a full complement of instrumentation, is relatively DIY friendly and are such good value today.

Personally, if I were looking to change with deep pockets I would look for a ( very hard to find) low mileage X300 XJR.

You know it's the right thing!

New colour on the Milans, hibernating with the racer. Refurnishing these wheels is a pain in the arse, huge amount of worked not helped by using a company that supposedly specialises in refurbishing Jag BBS wheels, and wrecking them. She's on 40k now, and running very well

Your recent update has further fueled my desire to get a X308 XJR again. I regret selling mine, would love a nice later example with the brembo brakes and those Milan wheels. Values are steadily rising!
