Evening folks. Been a long time lurker on here and I'm about to begin my first project, getting the M3 below ready for the track. The car has had some attention paid to the bodywork which the previous owner must take credit for and I'm about to refresh the suspension and strengthen the bottom end. Will update as the work progresses.

Hope you like the base for my project.

Regards JBad.

Seems too nice to track, I think these are due to increase in value and a red one is quite rare, especially in that condition, I would rather track a ropey one

Fair point. Will be doing occasional track day in this. Car won't be stripped just enhanced to improve performance.

Good to hear that op, too many getting stripped and tracked, that one is far to nice to butcher.

Please dont strip it out, keep it as it is. Too many good examples have been converted into a circuit car. I plan to get an E36 M3 next year, not sure whether to buy a mint example or buy a car which needs T.L.C, either way i plan to make it mint to original specification.

Look forward to seeing how this progresses OP, my old man has a mint 3.2 Evo which occasionally sees the light of day and they are great cars.

There are some really ropey M3s around... but my god, they look so good when all clean and tidy. Gorgeous!

yes Seeing all the crap ones makes it almost special seeing a clean, original one nowadays. Would almost go so far as to say I prefer the early 3.0 cars with orange indicators

Is that one Daytona Violet? Looks identical to my old 3.0, I loved that car.

OP your car looks mint, any interior pics?

It's threads like this that makes us realise how special, unabused original examples of a fine car are.

OP it looks lovely in red. The Avus Blue and Daytona Violet ones are equally stunning

I'm off to the classifieds

Was the car originally specced with that interior ? it is very similar to the M3 GTii (Imola Individual) interior. Love the contrast of suede and red leather.
