It's a shame at our local supercar gathering it gets overlooked as just another a chavs car.
I feel your pain in this respect. My wife hates my subarus and has asked me to stop spending money on cars that "frankly look f***ing s***!". She clearly has no taste as she married me!

I see super (or at least top end) cars every day in the city, but this would be the car I'd be pawing over if I saw it at a super car gathering!

Nowhere near finished but the 1st door gets some epoxy and high build primer on it.

Before anyone asks. It's not supposed to be smoothed to the door as that's how the S7/8 cars were. Only the S11 onwards had a blended door.

Haha. I've had it for so long and they evolve. I still love the evolution of this car.
It still makes me smile and I want it to be an event every time I get in it.

I had just sold my wr1 when you were considering selling it a couple of years ago, had some silly thoughts but it was never going to happen

Trying to do it as well as my mortal budget will allow.
It won't be the real thing, but will certainly look like it as the exterior WILL be the real thing.

Yeah it's a tough call. Was like putting your child up for sale. I dare say I couldn't have gone through with it.

As Ross said, gutsy!

Like seeing the jig work, makes you appreciated more the hours that go on behind the scenes with tooling as well as shell prep.

Agree Andy. The work that's going into it by Dave is truly staggering.
It's as nice to watch him create and fabricate as it is seeing the finished product.
