Superb effort, the finished result looks awesome! Look forward to some performance figures when you get some miles on it!

Done 4000 miles so far so time to give it some stick.( been worried about breaking the axle).

Original tyres saved the day as they just span up on boost, so no good 0-60 times.

Fitted a pair of avons a month ago, two trips to France bedded them in,

First try at 0-60 now 3.96

Off to find a quiet straight private road to test the 1/4 mile time

I seem to have missed the middle of this thread.

The workmanship you have put into this car is outstanding.
It looks amazing now finished.
The ride height is perfect.

A walk around vid at tick over would be great.

This car is epic. But as I said earlier in the thread, it's a genuine MkII LC body and it's got a Lotus engine, so it's a Lotus Cortina. I'd have it in white with the green stripe, all the Lotus and Twin cam badges and the original dish steelies with the LC hubcaps.

Have covered 12k miles mow, only issue is the gearbox has burnt out the lock up clutch twice and its playing up at the moment too.

Before i look into it again i thought s-it or bust , try a 1/4 mile blast

12.2 with the top end fueling not mapped, so should easy do an 11 sec.

Oh and its not a lotus shell, it was a 1500GT
