200*? Damn dude. I do have a massive heat exchanger which helps a lot! I haven't ran the mile but haven't heard of anyone getting THAT hot. If my car ever got that hot I'd be running 3* timing. It's a given though, the smaller blower will create more heat just gotta fight back. That being said, I'd like to get out and run the mile. We're gonna go back in a couple weeks to Santa pod on a RWYB. Hopefully is dry this time
Exactly, pulled loads of timing. To be fair the blower was over spun quite badly and well outside its comfort zone. Water/Meth injection helps a lot, are you running this?No I'm not running meth just straight 98 pump fuel. I've given it thought but wanna keep it simple. I guess that would be the next thing along with heads. We plan on giving it another go on the 13th. I think I saw a thread with the Monaro crew planning a trip then. Ill prob see some of you there.

Yes, that would be good. Your car sounds awesome by the way!gsd2000 said:

If I owned that car I would just leave it idling outside my house all day lolCooper put together a go-pro video of the car rowing through the gears . Many thanks to him!

- *UPDATE***
-Factory LSA Block
-Ported LSA Heads
-Manley 416 Stroker Kit
-Monster Twin Disc Clutch (rated to 1100RWHP)
-Magnuson Heartbeat 2300
-Built by Tune Time Performance in New Jersey and installed by myself and some friends
Goal with this setup is to make a conservative 850+BHP at about .8 Bar since the old setup made 764. Anything after that would be bonus. As far as the new blower, I will be spinning it at 21,000rpms so it will be moving some air . Hopefully I can finish getting it mapped up in the coming weeks so I can hit the rollers and she what she is all about. Stay tuned for more info.
Here is a video of the first start back in Mid April. Since then I have put 1018 break-in miles on the car.

Missed this thread first time round, just given it the full read, what an absolute machine! Top work, the noise is something else
I'm developing a very large LS itch, and Monaros are becoming very sensibly priced in the classifieds.. Maybe in a few years when I can afford to fuel them eh

This sounds great and similar to mine, are those the LPE ported LSA heads? I stayed away from the stroker kit as I found you don't really need it on a PD blown car and oil consumption/reliability can be a problem as the pistons rock without support to the skirts from the stock liners. That blower will be awesome, what cam did you go for?

There are a couple 416s driving around with great results. The stroke is not that much bigger than stock so shouldn't be an issue. Right now, I am seeing a little increase in mpg range (1-2mpg). The cam was a custom grind spec'd by Tune Time performance specifically for my build and blower. I can prob find the exact specs somewhere in my emails. The heads were also hand ported by the same shop and flow ~350cfm.
