Spent today cutting up shell to make room for new shell which will be with me in a few weeks was a sad day with all the work I have put into the shell but one to bigger and better things.
But on a good note the wheels turned up form dimma after their refurb and look fantastic very happy with them.

Always loved those wheels. This is such a fun project. Are you sticking with the original colour now you have a new shell?

Those wheels are lovely, Dimma look to have made a very good job! Well done again on your project, it's a trip down nostalgia lane for me. Just make sure you finish it!

Aahhh, me thinks you've been looking at the Dimma 205 Cossie for sale on eBay.

That would look tremendous, same colour as the recent T16 that went up for auction recently. Red carpets as well smile

Well done on the wheels as well, they look gorgeous.

Awesome project, can't wait to see it all finished smile It reminds me of my first race car - a 205 Mi16 that I really wanted to fit the T16 arches onto. In the end I never got that far before I sold it but it did have the Group B works T16 graphics

What a build this is! Love a good 205 and so nice to see one being saved.

Had a 1.9 Miami blue when I was 19 but couldn't put it though being daily driven (and it broke down a lot)

Seems a shame to cut up the old shell after you'd done so much work to it, would it not have been worth finishing the shell to a decent standard and perhaps selling on for someone else to use as a project? Not a criticism by the way, only you know the logistics of money, space, time etc you have, and I have enjoyed reading/seeing your progress so far.

This is going to me epic!!!

There was a couple around near where I lived in Wales but unfortunately owned by total dheads. One had the switchable boost Turbo technics kit and was his first car in 2000!

Anyway, you still planning on using the 1.9?

would have loved to sell shell but due to needing to keep my vin and reg for new shell it had to be destroyed so i can transfer vib and plate to new shell. Luckily I didnt spend to much on shell just alot of man hrs to get it to where it was but now with new shell project can really move on and be even better.

As for engine it is staying the 1.9 that it came with cannot see the point in changing it.

Bit of a shame it's not going to be the original colour but then I suppose it's not the original shell either.

Just nice to see these looked after and this is certainly being looked after properly.
