As for engine it is staying the 1.9 that it came with cannot see the point in changing it.
Do the turbo technics conversions come up much on the used market? That would be awesome as it would be a period style mod and you would have the novelty of the switch on the dash!

Another good day for the project got the call from dimma that wheels are all refurbed so should have them by end of week and picked first batch of parts from platers all looking good there are a few bolts that didn't come up too well but will just replace the worse ones.

Subframe now fitted and have built up passenger side but have seem to have misplaced the nuts to hold coilover in strut housing so off to the fastners in morning for some m7 nylon lock nuts.

The refurb looks great but don't you want to paint the underside, interior and engine bay first?

I was thinking that, given Peugeot's do have rust issues, its a perfect chance to get the car sprayed up, and cavity wax / seam seal and stone chip the underside.
Dinitrol treatment for the cavity wax: http://www.dinitrol.co.uk/

And 3M Stone chip http://catalogue.3m.co.uk/en_gb/gb-aad/Coatings/An...

This is going to be one of the best 205s. Have you taken the Dimma kit off the old shell yet?

I was wondering if it would come off un damaged

Beautiful work your doing. Looking at the rack made me go eek Have you considered fitting power steering? Quite a few people rate the conversion on the standard GTi and I can imagine a Dimma car would benefit even more! Still lovely work OP, I can't wait to see it finished!
