My Peugeot 205gti (Dimma) Restoration
Discussion
sorry to hear about your poor health. i love 205gtis and Dimmas were the most amazing cars in their day. one friend i knew got a narrow bodied 205 gti but with Dimma wheels with standard offsets for his 17th. it was the best looking 205 i ever saw.
Good luck with your health and i look forward to seeing this all finished. what colour will it be btw?

Better than new! This is some rebuild!
So, any chance of sharing vapour blasting costs? I am desperate to have something done, having seen this!
Assume, being vapour, there is zero danger of damage to any metal etc.
I wouldn't get too excited, bare metal soon tarnishes and if allowed to get damp will corrode so won't look like that for long. The downside of using glass bead to clean is of course it gets everywhere so you need to take out every plug and bung in an engine and clean all the oilways, waterways, threaded holes etc out very very thoroughly. Any left in will give some lovely crunchy crunchy noises when putting bolts in or get washed around the engine ruining it in a few miles. So, any chance of sharing vapour blasting costs?
