It's weird how a Dimma looks so normal in these days of wings on hatchbacks. I remember when I used to see them and think they were as crazy as a lambo, although I was ten at the time they first started appearing.

As if I hadn't started looking at them already, now I know you can do that to them!

I asked about finishing that car off but it was just going to be too much money for a toy for me, when I had just bought (or perhaps was just buying) my 600 mile Clio V6. Would be an awesome little weapon!

With health improving every day and hoping to return to work in next few weeks after being off for nearly 5 months I have finally managed to do some more work on the pug. I've made a start tidying garage up ready for return of the car and also have made a start on the engine the head has been rebuilt I have re cut all valves and fitted new valve springs and washers just got to check valve clearances and the head is finished. I moved onto the block refitting the crank with new shells and liners and cleaned old pistons up and fitted new rings just got to fit pistons to block and all can be torqued up. Few more goodies turned up aswell including a set of original siem spots so happy chappy.

Well the engine is almost complete for the dimma just got to wait for the sump and lower cambelt cover to return from the powdercoaters and a replacement waterpump as was sent wrong one then can get timed up and that will be it finished bar some small little bits.

Well I'm hoping this is the last of the parts I needed powdercoated but now they are back I have now refitted sump to engine and timing belt cover just got to wait for waterpump and can fit belt and time up.
I have also cracked on with my anal jack refurb (think I have issues) but it looks like new hope I never get a puncture aswill be a shame to use this and my wheel brace.
