May have been imported to Japan but it's not a jdm spec car sadly as believe they were all autos with sunroof,powersteering and aircon.

I must admit the JDM description came from the alternative ad for the same car on the carandclassic website rather than the dealer website:

I do recall reading/seeing somewhere that there’s an oddity in Japan that they’ll spec LHD for overseas exotica so whilst this isn’t JDM in the sense it was a Jap car available there only, it purports to be specced for a Japanese buyer.

Also gotta say that given the standard of the work and the spec of the car it’s worth every penny you get for it OP. Compared to the bonkers prices contemporary Fords go for I’d much rather have that on my drive.

Come to think of it, I’m thinking of offloading the Tuscan

I seem to remember that there is a certain amount of “status” afforded to those that drive LHD cars in Japan.
