That's a bloody good price for that is £500. Usually anything costing £500 from The People's Republic of Solihull is either knackered or just an engine.

I want to keep the Landy straight and original. Just a few mods, then:-

Didn't I see James May drive that onto a Globemaster at Bagram on TG last week?

Isn't that image against my Human Rights?

Sorry the Range Rover went. I was more keen on that. I've driven LRs offroad twice and the thought of using them on metaled roads doesn't appeal to me. The LR is a tool, the Bache RR more of a design icon.

Classic Rangeys are ace. The Buick-Rover V8 is ace. I would lerrrrrve a three door, but they cost a mint. The 4x4 garage to which I have sold the old Red Rangey is doing a nut and bolt rebuild of a three door Rangey Classic from the first year of production. It will be a lovely blue colour and will be mega. It will be for sale for 40,000 plus when finished, but the garage does not expect much profit as it has been a huge job. I will try to get some photos when next there.

Here is a parting shot of the Red Rangey at the garage awaiting its rescue or demise, and two three doors sat there as donor cars or potential resto projects.

I will start a new thread in a bit about the old Landy.

I really hope the two three doors get restored as even they (once restored) are worth a fortune! And I'd love to see you're old red Rangie live on too. Sadly it might come back in a more classy shade of green & have cream leather.

Oh well, onwards, upwards & enjoy you're series 3!
