I can't see the problem.
Had I tried that the next picture would have been of an mx-5 upside down and on fire!
I'm mechanically challenged you see. It's an affliction.

Well, the results are in.... looks like I will be buying more filler!! biggrin

It did initially fail.... on a bloody WIPER BLADE, but a few quid sorted that out.

Costs so far (it needs taxing):-

Car: £500
Filler Materials: £32
MOT: £40 (including the wiper)
VIC (booked): £50

Total £622

I always stand next to the car when applying filler, ten feet away and throwing it doesnt work.

Fair play on having a go but damn, it was looking so promising.

That looks like you had a fantastic buy, only thing with the weight of the filler you may need heavier duty springs on one side.

He might mean this, http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/...
but I'm not certain that canyon on the side of your car can be counted as a small dent:-P

You've taken a pic of the undamaged other side and reversed the image haven't you.
You won't get any of that photoshop nonsense past me.
