Edit: that did not make much sense without a picture, right ;-)? Not meant as criticism of the Fuchs wheels. Lovely IMO, as is the rest attached to them.

Here's the pic now

.

Turbo: yes. Fuchs wheels: no. Love it, though smile. And it recycles into beer cans. Great, innit?

How did you get the Dusseldorf plate with the words after the number characters?

Curious as I was planning registering a car in Dusseldorf at a friends address to spell my initials when I lived in Germany!

Oh, that's just playing around with GIMP, sorry (The GNU Image Manipulation Program, http://www.gimp.org/). Hard to spot because the pic is low resolution wink.

Nothing changed plates wise here, D for Dusseldorf then 1-2 letters and 1-4 numbers. That's all the options. At least it's cheap ;-). If you ever fancy having another go, they have an online tool to reserve your Kennzeichen now: https://kfzd.krzn.de/d-igv/servlet/Internetgeschae... .

Lovely pair, Rondell six spokes, they should have fitted them as standard to cossies, they look so good!

That is lovely lick

Going completely off topic, what is the approximate build cost for one of those? (if you don't mind me asking of course!)

I am very much in love with the GD T70 Moda, but there is no pricing on their site. Wouldn't mind trying to build one at some point, though I fear that it might be in the Ultima GTR price band (about £60k all in), which prices me out for a while yet...

My nieces are visiting from the States. Ava in my car.

The load capacity of my brothers Steed seems adequate, by the way.

If you asked the wife, she will say it cost about £35k as that was the original budget. realistically its nearer £40k as i blew up my original 2nd hand LS1 (1200quid) after 3 trackdays when it span a bearing. i had a full forged 6 litre LS6 built in the usa for £2.8k shipped , other than than mishap
it was close to my original budget. i also spent extra on additional oil coolers and dry sump as its a trackday car rather than a road car.

if you could pick up a cheap g50 and LS engine then £40k is doable still, for a car with circa sub8s 0-100mph :-)

Tasmin 200 but fitted with carbed 2.8 Cologne. Currently sitting in my garage on axle stands for the past few years due to serious lack of funds. One day it will be back…
