Had forgot all about this thread! I'm now a V10/V8/V8 man, just done a deal on a D2 Audi S8 that I collect tomorrow, and bought an ex Audi UK early 1995 A8 4.2 quattro sport two months back too, I must be mad! Screw you, Greenpeace.

Yes, still loving it. Been a few days since I've been out in it so I think I'll go for a spin tonight.

... Power has been upped from the 580BHP from factory by MRC to 757 BHP/967NM, no mad tuning, either - just a custom engine and gearbox remap, Milltek exhaust and uprated air filters...
Does anyone on here know the total cost of this mod? I am thinking about getting RS6 C6 around this time next year and most likely would like to have the above numbers in my car.

I've not got a flyby video, but try these, taken at VMax, you hear the exhaust do this backfire splutter noise as it changes at redline. I love that.

I hit 197 MPH through the beams, showing 204 on the speedo (see pic, still only in fifth gear so another still to go)! Turned out the car was quicker than the 458 Italia and 612 GTO on the day.

And here's a cool photo taken on an awesome evening drive.

I've pretty much decided that one of these will be a replacement for my A8 as and when the time comes. smile

I've been kicking this one around in my head. The extra practicality could come in handy occasionally and it would certainly appear that they are more sought after and therefore easier to sell when the time comes, but I am a sucker for a three box saloon and I think it looks nicer. I did also get sick of people asking me why I bought an estate car many years ago when I had an S6, so that may be an influencing factor too! Either way, I think it's a win/win situation.

Fair enough, my own personal opinion is that the C6 model A6 looks absolutely stunning in Avant form, whether its an RS6 with box arches or a derv S Line smile

It's had a service, last one was 3.5k miles ago, but a good idea with this power, a wheel refurb, four new Goodyear Eagle F1's, new rear pads, new front ceramic discs.

Just going out to clean it now, it only manages 200ish miles a month as I have an company car I need to use everyday, but I am booked to take it to Le Mans next month!

Here's a pic from a few days ago.
