Did Audi cover the the Discs under warranty. Or did they renegade.
Nope, I paid for the discs myself, they were worn, rather than faulty, so probably unfair to expect Audi to replace them really.

I think I spotted you earlier on this evening in a 50 zone just past Watford Gap services, heading North. Saw the plate and it reminded me of this thread.

Worrying if so, not driven the car in a week, been in my company car. I took it for a very short journey late last night, but nowhere near Watford Gap...

My bad, it was a C6 RS6 in what seemed to be the same colour and also had a private reg starting with V10 along with what seemed to be a track car number on the rear windscreen in white

It was probably V10 YEA.

He was at GTI International at Shakespeare Raceway on the strip doing 123mph runs! Hence the white numbers. Both of these examples are just absolutely awesome. Would love to see this one in the metal too.

In fact I thought it was this one at first.

Yeah, I couldn't make GTI International.

I did make it to Le Mans a few weeks ago, though.

Great photos OP. How much longer do you think you'll be keeping it?

I'm not sure really, I really fancy an E46 M3 CSL. In reality, though, I'll probably end up with a £5-9k E46 M3 and bank the rest of the money. I get a nice company car so am finding it harder and harder every day to justify having so much money tied up in the RS 6 (which did around 800 miles in the last 4/5 months, then 1,100 over Le Mans weekend), no immediate plans, but something I should really address this year, the only thing I'm fairly certain on is my next car will be an E46 M3.

PM me when you do. I'm probably only a few months away from upgrading my A8. smile

I've got a couple of people that already want it! But I'll make sure I let you know if they don't work out. I didn't advertise my last RS 6, and doubt I'll have to advertise this one either!

Had the engine and box map tweaked by MRC today, and version two of their filters.

754PS, 1021NM @ 3823 RPM, it was 934NM at 5572 on the old map.

The difference is unbelievable, didn't believe it was possible to make it even faster, I'm having to re-calibrate my brain to cope with how much quicker it is approaching corners, you just gotta hold on to the steering so fricking hard for dear life when you have it on full throttle, absolutely pointless, but so savage.

Will do more PS and NM on a cooler day, but it had been on the dyno two hours being setup, and it was 28 degrees outside.
