Awesome machine....as all C6 RS6,s are!
This is a real sleeper!!!!....fact.
Too 99% of people it's a TDI rep mobile...to 1% petrol head in "the know" it's one of the quickest cars on the road.
This type of engine has had it's Concorde moment...never to be seen again
I mean come on a V10 Lambo block with twin turbos in a saloon!!! Only Audi are bonkers enough!!
Real rare on the roads too...I believe only about 300 on uk roads?

Hold up. It was remapped from 580bhp to 757bhp.
757bhp
I'm sure I don't need to point this out to you OP but I can't believe that hasn't been commented on yet.
Seven hundred and fifty seven... I'm off to the classifieds and to price up a remap.
Yep757bhp

These engines are mental
I'm running a custom zorst and high flow air filters on mine without a map and am at approx 600bhp.
Stage one map with high flow filters only and your looking at over 700brake without an issue and torque that will rip up Tarmac!!!!
And unlike the previous gen C5 RS6 the gearbox can handle it no problem....guys have done tens of thousands of miles remapped with absolutely no reliability issues!!!
Awesome car...never to be repeated I would suggest...not the best (or worst) in the twistes but as a straight line missile it will take anything on and I mean anything!!!
That is something truely special. Well done you for plunging into the depths of ownership, the brake costs scare me, but I suppose with the performance, they are needed, and a similar performance supercar, you'd look at similar prices.
I want to hear a video of it, sad I know, but I bet it sounds fantastic!

HOLY stE I WANT ONE!! 700+BHP?!
I can't imagine just nipping out to the shops or driving to work with over 700 horsepower.
You said the brakes will cost you a small fortune but how about the tyres? You must be as good as JB at maintaining your tyres. I'd have to have a spare tyre rack at home for everytime I came back!

Sorry if I miss anyone, I can't multi-quote.
But, no, I don’t have a brother with an R8 V10. I don't have any videos, but this is a good one to start with.

There are plenty more on Youtube too. I'll have to try and get one as you should hear it blip the throttle every time I am slowing down and it changes down the gears in sport mode, it is amazing, like a V10 fart/pop/backfire noise. It is known as the 'Sonic Boom' by other owners as it does it when you step on it too.
I found a blurry dyno graph of the car from a month back for anyone interested, and remember, the brake discs are £4.5k each, so £9k plus VAT and that’s without pads or labour. Audi reckon they can last up to 200k miles, let’s see. With any luck I’ll cook them now and have them replaced under warranty. That’s another thing, Audi have changed bits including an EGT sensor under warranty even with the tuning!
