Went to pride of longbridge. Didn't get any pictures at POL but I did spot a red 45 on the way back. unmissable photo opportunity

shown me I really need to go down at the front more. time for new wheels and much lower profile tyres!

well the other day the gearbox decided enough was enough. that's the fifth gearbox it's killed now.

In went gearbox number six, an uprated version. leaks gearbox oil like a sieve, hoping the issue is seals.

I've also lowered it more since the last bunch of photos and had two front tyres. rears to come soon.

Apart from the gearbox disaster, I went for a few photos and also went to Halfords to browse what paints I could google.

Went to the Dirty Stancing meet, someone got a really great photo of it.

Soon to have an engine lift and shorter front springs and/or coilovers if the springs aren't enough on their own

Love what you've done with this man. You have a sense of humour and dare to be different. Fair play. Look forward to seeing this soon - Players Classic perhaps?

I was surprised at the lack of hate. I was expecting "STANCE IS GAY" immediately

Do you need more driving lessons? How can you destroy 5 gearboxes?

They're made to handle about 80hp and push about an old Citroen AX. not > a ton of bouncing rover with 110odd bhp and a lead footed driver.
the last one did last me a good 20'000 miles though and if that's how long the next one lasts I'm still happy to replace it again, usually only 100 quid a pop and a day off the road

very, but the total cost of everything I need is massive. driveshafts, engine mounts, speedometer, speedo sensor, cv joints, gear linkages, clutch. its a lot of work frown
