Good call on the colour I reckon it will command a premium when sold like Liquid Yellow Renault sport cars...

Interested to see how it deals with mods...first time I've considered buying a new car for a while smile

Harsh but true, I've a soft spot for the new Fiesta ST, best of the current bread of small hot hatchbacks, but I'm not a fan for a cheap tack additions lol
....because you are an old man and a travel rug and a box of tissues are all that you need?? wink

I think the wrap has been done very well and easily removable unlike the costly alternative that car companies actually use called aqua dip smile

...and i LOVE the retro ford badges - great touch smile

People who know anything about fashions and trends should be well aware of the 30 year cycle. The 80's are back!! ...Big time smile Although I'm not sure what is going to happen in a few years as we will be replicating the 90's which were already replicating the 60's............where is Dr Sam Beckett when you need him smile

But I digress..... it would be great to see a new focus ST style exhaust on the fiesta ST

this road test from a few years back (includes the fiesta ST and BRABUS...or should i say "BRAYBUS" forfour) really isn't biased towards the ford - honest!! haha!!

Great hot hatch review where the "only downside to the ford is its relatively poor performance"

People have been doing the gel overlays on the Focus ST and Mondeo ST for about 2 or 3 years now smile
Personally think they look good but i'm happy with the OEM look.

They're nice these new Fiesta STs.
Not sure on the alloys though? Great colour though.

Tempted to paint the alloys darker, maybe even black, they are similar to the aventador wheels i think.

Went for a test drive tip his morning and was pretty impressed - sensed it really wanted to go faster than I could let it (damn passenger!) and really liked the sound and feel of it. Tempting. Got a quote from the garage for st2 plus some options. Was slightly surprised at only £685 discount being offered, especially as I was trading in a car which they only valued at £10k. Hmmm. Wondering if I should try another dealer.

Tempted to swap the FRP for one of these in a year or so.

Ford currently offering a ST2 for £13995 with privilege discount

Thats 4 grand off! privilege is usually only 1500 off fiestas plus whatever the dealer wants to knock off. Take it thats for a solid red one with no options?

You add any options and the price soon rises, metallic paint is £450, pearlescent paint is £750! mines got all factory options available and i got it for 17k, 3k off the list price of 20k so i was happy with that smile

This was the perfect car to move onto after six years of FRP ownership, handles just as well with the extra grunt the FRP needed smile

Had a great drive round my favourite B-roads in an ST2 this afternoon. What a deeply, deeply impressive car. It gets so many things so right, and can certainly teach the makers of much more expensive metal a thing or two on how it's done to make a great driver's car. So much fun. Nicely done, Ford.

You are right, all the big UK car mags have the Ford as number 1 in comparison tests.

Once Mountune finalise something for these....

Seen they even do a nice brake upgrade package too, bit pricey but for the money you save on these over... for example the new Clio they're a bargain (or so I keep telling myself).

Not a chance in hell, fully loaded is 20k, they arent gonna knock off six grand! I work at a ford dealer and get privilege, there was no way i could have got it that cheap.

People read magazines and are only interested how fast it goed from 0-60 (or in normal metric system, from 0-100)

It could very well be faster than the competition but on a track, my money goes to the Clio RS and not a Ford.
