All depends on the dealer you use, the dealer can put a certain level of priority on the order ranging from 1 to 99 with 1 being high priority. This white one was ordered middle of november and arrived two months later. But yes ive heard stories of long waits by some people. Theres plenty of stock now in dealers so you only have to wait if you want a factory order with specific options.

Hello mate, nice couple of STs!
Makes me wish I maybe chose a different colour to race red! Am partial to panther black however.
Have you looked into remaps? I'm Considering Mountune, yet Revo stage 1 is seeing gains of 220-30 for 200 less.. Stuck
Yes, the new white on has the mountune kit fitted, went for the mountune to keep my ford warranty plus i work at the dealer so got it a bit cheaper smile

That's cool, wish I specced mine with the kit from new now!
I've only heard good things about the Mountune kit to be honest, so definitely edging towards it. Keen to keep the warranty valid too, only thing making me mm and aah is that i've got an AS induction kit, which I guess would be rendered useless with the MP215 kit!
By the by, awesome cars, may have to take a visit to Essex soon smile
Just a word of warning that the AS induction kit has caused numerous cars now to go into limp mode, ive heard of at least five people who have had to take it off and return to standard due to problems.

If your after a good induction kit or any tuning parts for the ST Then www.finsport.co.uk is the place to go, heard nothing but good reviews about their software (remaps) and hardware like ind kits and exhausts. They have spent a lot more time than other companies on testing the products that work best and give the best gains for your money.

Ok, I'll retract my earlier post!
I ordered a brand new ST2 yesterday - in white!
Local "Autofestival" started yesterday and I got a better deal on a brand new car than the 2nd hand one with 4k km on that I mentioned above.
The car's in stock so I'll get it on the 13th. smile
You wont be disappointed, good choice smile

I personally would have had the roof and wing mirrors wrapped so it could be put back to 100% standard
I have the white mirror covers still and work at a Ford bodyshop so it can just be painted white again no problem if need be.

Very generous of ford to let you do so much to a car that if my memory serves me you haven't taken delivery of yet.
Its only like a retail customer asking for bits painting on their new car before they take delivery, whats the issue??

I don't have an issue, just thought they'd make you wait until the car was yours. But I also didn't think they would do that for a retail customer, no offence intended.
Dont know about other dealers but i know if a customer requests parts painting eg wheels or grilles its all done before they pick the car up, plus its just handy that i work there so easier for me i suppose.

No offence taken mate smile

Until you get a trained eye looking over it and see the roof has been painted , which will set alarm bells off , and I would run away rapidly from a car with a painted roof specially a brand new one . But that's just me
I have a trained eye of nearly 14 years in a bodyshop so i will take my chances.

Fiestas use normal 501 capless bulbs in the number plate lamps, so any white 501 led bulb will do off ebay.

Finally got to drive the new one away from the dealer saturday morning, absolutely loving the mountune upgrade compared to the standard car, so much more torque right through the rev range.

Ignore the mark on the door, its dirt on the inside of my iphone camera lens and its pissing me right off!
