The wife's pressuring me to sell this now, so if anyone's interested, drop me a mail

I'm using the browny points gained for selling the van, so that she's not so annoyed when an R8 V10+ turns up in the garage as a weekend toy later this year smile
Get a well specced V10 manual instead! Will be one of the last manual supercars, plus you already have your automatic estate tongue out
I did think of this, but the standard v10 just didn't ignite my fire in the same way the DSG boxed v10+ did. It's right up there with the Italians and less of a liability on the wallet

You could also get a V10+ in manual. had one for a week a while ago and wouldn't even consider the DSG now

I reckon a fair price is £2,900
Engine is only 3k miles after full rebuild with new pistons, turbo etc. has just been serviced, now MOT and four new toyos
Is still registered as a 1.7 petrol FWIW, so cheap tax etc if that's a concern
...and it was going so well...

I was firmly of the manual camp, but since driving the DSG car, I'm sold and convinced smile
Plus, my RS4 is DSG, so at least I'll keep some parity between my day to day car and weekend toy

Sold it today. I'm a bit sad to see it go to be honest, but it's gone to an enthusiast who's already had a few magazine featured vauxhalls

Hello all!

It's taken me quite a while to find this thread...

I am the new owner of the van and I will be posting up some updates of the van.

It's been off the road for quite a while, almost a year!

But it will return... Bigger and better than before!

I'm not surprised mate! smile

hopefully after the engine has been ran in, around 350-380 on that turbo maybe a little more. But it will be maxed out at that, so I will move up onto something bigger like a gt2871r HTA which would be good for 450 bhp. Want to try get 500 but we will see smile

Wouldn't it be cheaper to stick a Saab lump in there wink 900/9-3's can be picked up for peanuts now. And £200 should get you the b204.... it's pretty bullet proof, plenty of the lads see 400+HP with just bolt on bits.

Anyway! Mad project smile
