I've just spotted your car on Instagram at my golf club in Daventry! Looks like you spent time at Revo/Stasis?
Their fleet is incredible, the engine notes from their RS5 is amazing.

Cheers guys i spent the day with the guys at REVO (STaSIS) and to say the car has been given a new lease of life is an understatement.

Well i have returned what from i can honestly say was one of the times of my life, 180 cars from Mk1 Golfs to 1000BHP R8's and some amazing people from cross the world.

51 of the cars from the UK and the rest from around the world, some of the guys even from the states and everyone with the same agenda, to have fun.

Everyone from Daft Scottish bd's (3 crazy guys from Invernesssssss) to scary looking Russians to full on red neck Americans who shipped a HUGE pick up from Texas.

The whole idea of the Modball is supposed to be low budget and is £1500 entry fee per person apposed the Gumball £15k per person.

I've never met such a down to earth bunch of people and every one with the same passion and everyone got on amazing, I've made some new amazing friends, i would go as far as saying that i have memories i will cherish for the rest of people life and many people i will stay in contact with.

Anyone who have every thought about doing something like this should DO IT, but get your rest before hand as I've never been so tired in my life and drove 3000Miles in 6 days.

If you feel your able you can attend a party every night but i managed 3 nights and i actually think my liver is now dead, some of the days driving can be pretty short (less than 300 miles) so you can party the night before and not leave your hotel the following day till after lunch time which makes sure your fit to drive.

I could write for hours and hours about what went on but ill no doubt tell you the story's in person, highlight for me was an Essex Guy having is £9k M3 impounded and they asked him 5000 euro for it back, he told them to ram it and finished the event in someone's else's car.

Two crazy Germans in Matching Gallardo Spyder's who honestly drove like I've never seen before, some crazy crazy insane stuff (190mph) and one of them was jailed and had his car and license taken from him, they let him out and escorted him to the border where he jumped back in his car and spent another 5 days back to his usual standard of driving.

I don't condone some of the driving that went on as everyone is responsible for their own and you will never stop that sort of thing but fair lay to those who did it and each to their own, i was quite happy to cruise away at the speed limit.

I had one speeding fine during the whole trip and 2 other cases where im sure my Scottish banter got me off the hook.

As for the partying i wont say much about that on here.

The Modabll can be done two ways, either low cost which gives you a budget room and your entry or you can upgrade to 5 star and have swanky hotels etc.

Without a doubt the budget is the way to do it and where all the fun is at, if like me you need a break you can book your own hotel in some towns and take the night off partying and have some chill time, a 5 star hotel in Europe can be as little as 100 euros so it was nice to take a night off and chill out.

Total raised so far for charity is £1200 (thanks again to bobby and you guys).
Only down side is the R8 now has a nice slipping clutch and had to limp home off the ferry
A very ill, tired Bradley.

Now that’s all the Modball Decals off and the next step was to get the car back to the guys at the Vinyl cut and get the wrap off but its nowhere near as bad as i thought it would look.

The wrap is still near perfect so I’m going to leave it on and do some track days (save the stone chips) and use the time to decide what’s next for the car.

The wrap (in a non gay way) looks bloody ace in the sun and colour changing flip is pretty dam sexy, its not to my taste but it fairly stands out, I can easy live with it until I suss out what’s next for the car.

A taster of some of the cars that took part.

Mine

Back home safe to the kids.

How the car loks now its home and the decals removed.

Great story. Sounds like you had an awesome time!

I still think the car looks great with the wrap, I would keep it for a bit longer too, at least for the summer smile

Great car, saw it still in livery last week at st macher/king street roundabout, still looked cool but tut tut using mobile while driving lol

Another guy from aberdeen did the modball in E60 i think 5 series, looked pretty good as well, but doubt it sounded as epic as your V10 biggrin

Small world, I was out for a beer last night with a someone who I assume is a friend of yours. He was showing me a pic of the car and telling me about your trip. Looks like it was a good trip.

Got a bit bored with the car (Work in progress) and lots to do, so far 275kg of weight shaved off and looking to shave off about about 200kg by various other means (seats etc)

Basics are, REVO tuned and running full R8 LMS Race suspesnion set up and the body with lots of carbon, most of the car will be painted hence we have primed the bumpers etc (they are carbon)
